PAS 4 or 5 - I can't pedal fast enough to keep up with the motor LOL. When I'm in top gear, at PAS 3, I can pedal with some effort (enough that I'm getting some exercise and no "ghost" pedaling) at around 15-17 mph on a flat. When I'm comfortably rolling at 5-ish MPH, I'll bump the PAS to 1 and gradually "shift" up the PAS to 3 as I'm shifting up through the gears. I dont know if this is typical or if this is just this bike or if its just me IDK.but if im taking off from a dead stop and have the PAS on, the power is rather jarring to me when it suddenly kicks in. But from a dead stop, I typically start with the PAS on zero (as in, motor completely off). I mean, depends on where I'm going, traffic conditions, etc etc. PAS setting is easily accessed by my left thumb. I'm a newbie, just sharing my experience with the Lectric XP.
